Salgó Rally 2023 has been organised
TRP Hungary organised the traditional Salgó Rally between 25-27 May 2023, which was the second round of the HUMDA National Rally Championship. The Salgó Rally, which has been held since 1974 is an iconic event of the Hungarian Rally Championship. Fans and competitors eagerly await the event every year because of the world championship-level Cered speed stage which is part of the more than 100 km long competition course. The winner of the Salgó Rally in ORB category were Ferenc Vincze and Nándor Percze, who finished first in 9 out of 11 special stages. The second place was taken by Frigyes Turán and Ági Farnadi. So with these scores after the second round the order of the National Championship is the same. You can read all the news about the Salgó Rally in Hungarian by clicking on salgorally.hu.

The ticket sales for Rally Hungary have started
After a one-year break, the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) will return to Hungary from 6th to 8th October, 2023. The Rally Hungary, with its beautiful autumn landscapes and thrilling special stages, will host the final round of the championship, attracting rally fans from all around.
The rally provides an excellent opportunity for Hungarian competitors in the ERC, such as Martin László-Dávid Berendi, Junior ERC crew Patrik Herczig-Kristóf Varga, or the duo in ERC4, Bendegúz Hangodi-László Bunkoczi, to demonstrate their skills on Hungarian soil, on the legendary stages of the Zemplén Mountains.
It is expected that the duo of Miklós Csomós-Attila Nagy will also return for the competition, and the leading participants of the HUMDA National Rally Championship may also enter the Rally Hungary for this round. This allows the best local competitors to compare their skills against the likes of former Rally Hungary winner Mads Østberg and one-time WRC event winner and current ERC points leader Hayden Paddon.
